Reflecting on Our First Year

November 2025, Vol 2, No 10

As we step into November, a month rich with significance, I am honored to introduce myself as the new Editorial Director of ImPACT. This month not only marks a time to honor the service and sacrifices of our nation’s veterans on Veterans Day and raise awareness of critical health issues like lung cancer; it also coincides with a milestone for us—our 1-year anniversary as a publication.

This is a time of reflection and celebration. Over the past year, ImPACT has grown into a trusted platform for the federal health community, delivering thought-provoking articles, expert analyses, and vital updates on the challenges and opportunities within the healthcare sector. The numbers from our first year tell a story of influence and engagement:

  • Over 50 thought leadership articles published, addressing key topics from health equity to emerging technologies in federal health
  • A growing audience of thousands of dedicated readers and subscribers, including healthcare professionals and industry leaders
  • Partnerships with renowned contributors and experts who have shared their insights and vision

These achievements reflect the collective dedication of everyone involved—our editorial team, our contributors, and most importantly, you, our readers. Your engagement, feedback, and shared passion for advancing federal health have driven us to make a meaningful difference in this space.

As we honor our veterans this month, we are reminded of our responsibility to ensure that those who have served our nation receive the highest standard of care. In addition, Lung Cancer Awareness Month highlights the importance of prevention, early detection, and innovative treatments for a disease that continues to take too many lives. At ImPACT, we are committed to shining a light on these critical issues, sharing stories, research, and solutions that can inspire change.

Looking ahead, my vision for this publication is to build on the strong foundation established over the past year. Together, we will continue to amplify the health of veterans, explore innovative solutions, and foster dialogue around the challenges and opportunities that shape federal health. I encourage you to share your ideas, insights, and stories—because this is a community effort, and your contributions make us stronger.

As we celebrate our 1-year anniversary, I want to personally thank you for your support. Let’s continue to make an impact.

Warm regards,

Brandi Bryant
