Welcome to ImPACT!

In recognition of Veteran’s Day, Amplity Health is proud to launch ImPACT, a new publication and digital offering that are dedicated to supporting the Patient-Aligned Care Teams (PACT) in removing barriers to care for all those enrolled in the federal health system.

In our print issues of ImPACT, including this premier issue, expect to find informative articles and expert commentary on a range of topics, including oncology management, infectious disease updates, mental health treatment, and the latest research in women's health. Check us out online for daily updates, including FDA news, videos, and educational digital offerings designed to inform you about best practices, and live highlights from major medical conferences like the Joint Federal Pharmacy Seminar in San Diego.

We encourage you to submit your pieces by emailing our Editorial Director, Colleen Hall, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Submitted manuscripts must be original and must not have been published previously, either in print or in electronic form. Manuscripts cannot be submitted elsewhere while under consideration by ImPACT. Authors are responsible for providing sources cited in the manuscript upon request from the editorial department as part of the standard editorial process, and are expected to sign an appropriate disclosure form and a copyright transfer/authorship form.

“ImPACT has two primary goals. First, to equip every member of a patient-aligned care team with the latest clinical information and treatment strategies to ensure exceptional healthcare for the brave heroes who have served our Country. Second, to help veterans and their family members make the best decisions for their care while fully utilizing the federal health system,” said Chris Baker, CEO of Amplity Health.

In our first issue, you’ll find reporting on federal health data that were presented at a number of continuing medical education meetings, including the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer’s World 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer in San Diego, and The Menopause Society Meeting in Chicago.

Working in tandem with two of Amplity’s federal market access and strategy experts, retired Air Force Colonel David (Dave) W. Bobb; pharmacist, attorney, and former Chief of Pharmacy Operations at the Defense Health Agency, Jannet Carmichael, PharmD, Amplity’s principal of VA Market Access and former VA Regional Head, along with other board members, this publication and accompanying website are Amplity Health’s flagship PACT-facing news resource. Other publications in our network that you may already be familiar with include the Journal of Hematology Oncology Pharmacy, Journal of Oncology Navigation & Survivorship, Oncology Practice Management, The Oncology Nurse-APN/PA, The Oncology Pharmacist, and Conquer.
